Kinneret Observatory

The Kinneret Observatory was established to foster astronomy studies from a young age through the observation and analysis of astronomical photographs. It allows every teacher and student in Israel to request observations for educational projects. The observatory staff encourages teachers to challenge students with questions that can be answered through astronomical observations. Operating robotically, the observatory conducts observations every night when weather conditions permit. Requests for observations can be made through the observatory’s website. Once completed, the observations are sent to the teachers or students, who receive assistance and support. To request observations, use the form at this link.
